The Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) offers both undergraduate (4-year programs) and postgraduate (2-year programs) education. In the academic year 2015-16, AMET admitted 477 undergraduate students, and by 2018-19, 425 of them successfully graduated. Of these graduates, 375 secured placements with a median salary of Rs. 340,000.
The following year, 2016-17, saw an intake of 515 undergraduate students, with 511 graduating by 2019-20. Among these, 345 secured placements at an appealing median salary of Rs. 340,000, and 22 students advanced to higher studies.
In 2017-18, 523 students joined the undergraduate program, and by 2020-21, 531 students had graduated. Notably, 381 graduates secured placements with a median salary of Rs. 350,000, and 26 students progressed to higher studies.
For postgraduate programs, in 2017-18, AMET admitted 48 students, with 11 graduating by 2018-19. Out of these graduates, 7 secured placements with a median salary of Rs. 360,000.
In the subsequent year, 2018-19, AMET admitted 50 postgraduate students, and by 2019-20, 10 had graduated. Of these graduates, 5 found placements with an appealing median salary of Rs. 360,000, and 3 students opted for higher studies.
Lastly, in the academic year 2019-20, 43 postgraduate students were admitted, and 17 graduated by 2020-21. From this group, 9 graduates secured placements with a median salary of Rs. 360,000, and 5 students decided to pursue further studies.
